Meet Recap

Despite shooting a new season low for the South Bend Washington Girls Golf team, The Panthers placed 4th at Beechwood Golf Course. LaPorte won the event followed closely by John Glenn. New Prairie’s Kara Blair was the medalist with a 40. Washington’s Megan Ford shot her season best with a 55. During the match, a kind woman who resides on the golf course approached Panther head coach Brian Ginzer and donated 3 dozen gently used golf balls she had harvested from her yard over the season. The woman was an avid golfer in her younger years and loved watching the Lady Panthers try their best through the course. Washington travels to Erskine Golf Course to battle Adams and Jimtown Thursday.
