Meet Recap

Washington’s Girl’s golf team was defeated by NIC rivals Riley and Elkhart Central at El Bel golf course despite the team’s best showing. All girls shot personal bests for the season. Sophomores Breanna Ciesielski and Krystyna Shepley have become future leaders of the program through dedicated practice and improvement. Senior Amanda Starnes played in her first match ever and had a blast scoring for the varsity. JV players Shelby Gadacsz and Tina Mills continue to improve their games. Victoria Iannuzzelli found her driver and Shelbee Hessey looks to join in next week’s action. Megan Ford continues to be a team leader on and off the course. Next week’s opponents include Penn, Laporte, New Prairie, Jimtown, and Adams. Ever Onward Panthers!
